Project Description
Capital Tower, Beirut, Lebanon
The main challenge was to create a link between the different spaces by choosing the right volumes, nice textures and appropriate material.
The use of charcoal wood panels gives a feeling of entering through a theatrical entrance enhanced by a subtle lighting.
The visitor is welcomed by an L shaped lit structure holding books, sculptures and framing some art pieces, creating an eye catching effect.
The bookshelf is declined into a back of bar with sliding panels. Standing tall, the bar is made of raw terrazzo and wood top, a sculptural element that can also be used as an extension of the dining room and a buffet area.
The bright dining room is immersed into the stunning view with a sliding automatic door between the kitchen and dining creating privacy between the 2 spaces.
